• Inserm is a signatory of the Global Code of Conduct for Research in Resource-Poor Settings.

• The Institute has made a commitment to respect the ethical principles applicable to all COVID-19 research according to World Health Organization (WHO) directives.

• Inserm is one of the 70 institutions having signed the coalition launched to accelerate research on the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 in low- and middle-income countries.

• Inserm, through the Reacting consortium, has an ethical charter for research conduct in emerging infectious disease epidemics.
